Theresa Elizabeth Bouwmeester

Theresa Bouwmeester, aged 84, passed away at Noric House after a courageous battle with Parkinson’s disease on January 30th 2019. She was born March 3rd, 1934 in Tilburg Holland. After immigrating to Canada in 1952, Theresa met and married her husband of 47 years, Louis Bouwmeester. She is survived by three sons; Andy (Debbie), Lou (Donna), and John (Angela); five Grandchildren; Kristen, Michelle, Ryan, Shawna, and Alysha, and five Great Grandchildren; Alexa, Marissa, Sophia, Elijah, and Carter. Also survived by her brothers; Bert, John, Case and Ed and sisters; Cathy and Tina. Theresa’s strong love for her family and her love of gardening defined her life and will be remembered by all who were touched by her presence. A Funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, Feb 8th at 11:00am at Our Lady of the Valley Roman Catholic Church in Coldstream.
