Ellen Rosetta Brown

Ellen passed away peacefully in Victoria, B.C. July 8th at 92 years of age. Ellen was born in England and migrated to Canada with her husband and family in 1951, finally settling in Beaverlodge, Alberta, in 1953. Ellen raised three sons with her husband Norman until they retired and moved to Vancouver Island in 1984. Throughout her life Ellen was known as a beautiful lady who was kind and caring to all that she knew. Ellen loved a beautiful flower garden and a tasty vegetable garden. Ellen was a wonderful cook and always made an excellent meal with tasty desserts that filled everyone up to the top, especially the children. Everyone was special to Ellen no matter who they were. Ellen had a kindness in her heart for animals and birds and enjoyed them very much. To know Ellen was to love her many said. Ellen was predeceased by her husband Norman Brown and son Barry Brown. Ellen is survived, and will be sorely missed by her son Jeffrey (Cheryl), son Dennis (Laurie), grandchildren Amanda, Lindsey, Shayne (Sierra), great grandchild Blaire, special friends Kevin and Sydney, John and Catherine, Christine and all the friends and relatives in Victoria, Nanaimo, Beaverlodge and England. Ellen's cooking roast beef and Yorkshires in the lords kitchen now. No service by request.
