IN THE CARE OF
First Memorial Funeral Services & Garden of Memories
Reunited with her beloved husband Mike, after a very long 30 year absence.
Marjorie leaves behind her son Michael (Maureen), daughter Karen (Dan), her grandchildren Joel (Laureen), Tracy, Steven, Michael (Dawn), Aaron (Patricia), her nine great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, 'niece' Linda (Paul) and a host of very dear friends. We will all miss her.
Mom was known for her sharp mind, straight talk and gracious manners. A war bride from Bath, England, she created a welcoming home wherever she and dad were stationed and their diverse domiciles were the scene of many memorable gatherings with friends and family. She loved travel, good friends, her bridge (and other card games - both 'real' and on-line), she followed curling fanatically and was forever an avid reader of current events. Walking with her dog Toby, good food, cooking, canning and working in the garden were several of the pastimes she enjoyed, as was serving with the SaanPenn hospital auxiliary.
She affected all who knew her.
A huge thank you to everyone at Sidney's Resthaven Lodge for all your care, friendship and help. Over the past two years you have enriched her - and our - times together. We cannot thank you enough.
At Marjorie's request, no funeral service will be held; her ashes will be scattered in several places that she particularly loved.
