Dustin Joseph Rogers

On Sunday, July 7, 2019 God decided he needed another angel in heaven with him. Dustin Joseph Rogers, loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and cousin passed away at home. Dustin was born on June 29, 1979 to James “Donny” and Diane Rogers in Victoria, TX. He graduated from Victoria High School and Southwest University. Dustin loved the outdoors, he loved to fish and kayak. He also was gifted with playing the guitar and singing. He had a big heart and loved his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Mary Helen Matula, Joe and Geraldine Rogers. Dustin is survived by his parents, step parents Larry Gallup and Dina Rogers, his brother Derek Rogers, his sister’s Daren and Deane Gallup, his step brother Jason Gallup, his step sister Stacy Betts, his grandfather I.G. Matula, nephews, niece, uncles, aunts and cousins. Visitation will be 5:30-7:00 Friday July 12, 2019 at Rosewood Funeral Chapels with a rosary to be recited at 7 pm. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 am Saturday July 13, 2019 at Holy Family Catholic Church with burial to follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
