Rosewood Funeral Chapel
Mary Frances Halepaska, 70, passed away surrounded by her family on July 4, 2019. Mary was born August 22, 1948 in Victoria to the late Chester Paul and Frances Rose Valenta Brzozowske.
We were married nearly 50 years and Mary is the woman who made me the man I am. I like to believe she made a difference in other people’s lives with her ready smile and great laugh. I could always find her in any store by listening for her laugh.
Mary is survived by her husband, Douglas Joseph Halepaska; sons, Douglas J. Halepaska Jr. (Kendra) of Fredericksburg, VA., James J. Halepaska (Veronica) of Sugarland; sisters, Betty Ann Vacker of San Antonio, Shirley Kay Pheil (Robert) of Victoria, Beverly Jean Stuart of Houston, Fay Marie Cade of Houston; her grandchildren, Alex Ray Halepaska (Sydney), Kaitlyn Halepaska, Sarah Halepaska, Ella Halepaska and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Chester Ray Brzozowske.
Memorial mass will be Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 2 PM at Sisters of the Incarnate Word and Blessed Sacrament Convent with Rev. Phi Nguyen officiating.
A reception and visitation will immediately follow.
