Obituary of Eunetta Marie Leal
Eunetta Marie Leal, age 63, entered heaven peacefully meeting her Creator on Thursday, May 30, 2019 while surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2019 at Connally/Compton Funeral Directors with Pastor Darrell Price officiating. Graveside to follow at Bosqueville Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Friday, June 7, at the funeral home. Eunetta was born September 12, 1955 to Homer and Euretta (Ware) Wallis in Waco, Texas. She was a longtime resident of Waco. Eunetta graduated from Richfield High School in 1973. She married the love of her life, Nabor Leal on February 14, 1981 they had 38 wonderful years together. Eunetta worked as a Physical Therapist Assistant where she discovered a passion for working with people with dementia, Parkinson's, and other neurological disorders. She helped people believe in themselves. She was a faithful member of Family Worship Center, where she was a prayer warrior for her church family, and a spiritual mother to many. Eunetta enjoyed gardening, sewing, and shopping, but spending time with her family and all of her grandchildren was her favorite. She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Euretta Wallis; brother, Eldred Wallis. Survivors include her husband, Nabor Leal of Waco; sons, Nabor E. Leal and wife, Sharlene of Waco, Dionicio Leal and wife, Erika of Waco, and Leobardo Leal of Waco; daughter, Kathryn Leal Diaz and husband, Daniel of Waco; grandchildren: Mekinnah, Zane, Max, Nabor J, Zaylah, and Jordan Leal; brother, Charles Wallis of College Station and sisters, Kathryn Boy of Waco, Margaret Mallory and husband, Charles of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma and Shirley Wallis of Waco; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Texas Oncology, St. Catherine’s, Providence ER & Hospital along with Providence Hospice for the care given to their mother. Pallbearers: Nabor Leal, Nabor E. Leal, Dionicio Leal, Leobardo Leal, Daniel Diaz and Jefferson Humphrey.
