Memories were many. The times we went trout fishing in the bay. He always knew where to find them. The times he helped me overcome my fear of the ocean and how to enjoy riding the waves in. The times we would go Deer hunting and wonder how one person could carry that much gear in the woods for a 4 hour hunt. He was totally prepared for anything. Always loved to hear him playing the harmonica. Most of all enjoyed anytime spent with him. Will be greatly missed

There are so many stories and memories that I have, which are all great and meaningful.
Some of the best times Papa (Larry)
and I shared were on the golf course and let me tell you with 54 years between us we sure had a lot to talk and laugh about. Speaking of laughing Papa sure beat me in golf by at least 5 to 10 strokes because he played it short and straight and I muscled the ball but in the end he would just look at me a smile and call me a stick in the mud most of the time.

He will truly be missed by me and the many people that he came in contact with and I'm thankful for all our talks and experiences we had together.
Love Gary Lee (stick in the mud)

When I was about 8 years old Larry Made this famous Malt chocolate milk shake and he offered me a drink of it, well turns out I didn't like it and spit it back in the glass. For the rest of my life he would never let me forget about that night.
We loved him and he loved our family my Grand Dad and Grand mom and I would go fishing with Larry,he knew where to fish.
So sorry to here his passing ,he was a very unique person and great friend. To Clark and Gary you had a great dad....Sending our Love from Ga.

Dearest Clark, what a beautiful bond you and your Dad! In the 23 years I've had the pleasure of knowing you, the relationship with your wonderful father never changed...always filled with love and laughter. May those smiles you created together always sustain your heart with happiness. God bless!

I loved it when Papa would dress like Santa. He even got on the news when the mall kicked him out for dressing like Santa and taking free pictures with families. I asked him to grow out his beard to take a picture as Santa with Summer. He broke his back around Christmas and I assumed that he wouldn’t be up for a picture. Sure enough when I came to visit him in rehab he had his Santa coat ready to go.
