Obituary of Kailynn Bursic-Panchuk
Kailynn Jade Bursic-Panchuk 2001~2018 Kailynn was born in Regina, Aug 21, 2001, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 22, 2018 at the age of 17 years. Her first five years were spent in Regina and she then moved to the farm to gain even more family. Kailynn attended 33 Central School in Fillmore for grades k-9. During these years she gained her group of lifelong friends. She then moved on to WCS for grade 10 and was set to walk across the stage this school year to graduate. Here again Kailynn embraced various groups of friends. It is here also that her true selfless-self started to show through various good deeds as we have learned in the past week. Kailynn had a zest for life, loved being the center of attention, was sassy and brassy but had the biggest heart, the strongest drive, motivation, and the greatest work ethic. Besides her friends, her family was first and foremost for Kailynn. She held the deepest admiration for her big brother and big sisters, watching them grow up before her and taking a bit of each of them to shape who she was. She also hoped she was the big sister her two little brothers would look up to. Kailynn was both a mommy’s girl and a daddy’s girl. As a bonus she proudly would announce she had two dads. Kailynn was a rare gem. She was close to all her cousins, labelling them BFF’s. She confided in them, and they confided in her. There was a mutual love that was obvious to everyone. Kailynn also held a special place in her heart for animals of all kinds, especially her cats and dogs. During Kailynn’s short but full 17 years with us, she has taught us to live life to the fullest and love as hard as you can. Her compassion for everyone, no matter who you are, or if she even knew you is now being shared with her selfless wish of organ donation. She will do her last pay it forward and give three people the gift of life. Kailynn truly is one in a million. Kailynn was predeceased by her Gido (grandfather), Bill Panchuk and uncle, Marty Bursic. She will be lovingly remembered by her mom Sandra (Aaron) LaRose; and dad, Sheldon Panchuk; siblings, Michael Bursic, Ashley, Allyssa, Jamie, Amanda, Seth, and Jackson LaRose; grandparents, Elora Panchuk; Monica (Marcello) Bursic and Louise (Albert) LaRose, numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins & friends as well many classmates of Weyburn Comprehensive School, Fillmore School and co-workers at Regina Milky Way and Weyburn Pharmasave. Kailynn’s family would like to thank the Weyburn First Responders, STARS Air Ambulance, the doctors and nurses at PICU at the Royal University Hospital and the staff at Ronald McDonald House. A Celebration of Kailynn’s Life will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Weyburn Comprehensive School ~ Cugnet Centre. Masters of Ceremonies will be Landon Field and Kyla Moffatt.
