Jean Stott

STOTT, Jean (nee Ward) With sadness Jean passed away on October 23, 2018. Born in England in 1931. Reunited with her late parents Thomas and Phyllis Ward and all other family who have predeceased her. Loving mother of Trevor Stott (Dixie Johnston and daughter Jamie) and Jeffrey Stott (Lori and children Braxton and Brooke). She will also be missed by her “sister” Cathie Henderson and family and “daughter” Charlie (Ron) Parent. Friends Lisa, John, Jacob, Shaylynn, R.J., Wilma, Sharon, Jean Harmon, furry friend Queenie, Dr. Maraj (Shoppers Drug Mart). As well as many other friends from her community, card groups and Amica. Jeannie was born and raised in Britain and moved to Canada in December 1964. She truly loved life and would never be caught sitting down if there was music to dance to. She was lovingly referred to as the “dancing machine”. Jeannie also loved going on cruises, tending to her garden and playing cards. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and an active member in PWP. Visitation will take place at Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre (1969 Wyandotte St. E. 519-252-5711) from 2-5 and 7-9 pm on Friday, October 26, 2018. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Victoria Memorial Gardens.
