Joyce (Hemsley) Lowe

Passed away peacefully with her family by her side at the age of 95. Reunited with her husband, Stanley (2003). Loving daughter of the late Benjamin and Elizabeth Hemsley. Dear mother of Carol and husband Gary Towers and Stephen and wife Debbie Lowe. Beloved grandmother of David Towers, Brian Towers and wife Andrea, Stephen Lowe and wife Christy, Robert Lowe, Tiffany Westfall and husband Jamie. Great grandmother of Kaitlynn, Alyssa, Brooklyn, Lahana, Lilly, Benjamin, Ainsley, Thomas, Tyson and Raylyn. Dear cousin of Mary and the late Gordon Rankin of Vancouver. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins in England. Dear friend of Cathie Henderson. Joyce loved to bowl in her earlier years and was also a junior bowling instructor at the old Golden Mile bowling lanes. Mrs. Lowe was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 12 Ladies Auxiliary. A special thanks to the caring management and staff of Riverside Place long term care facility for their loving care and treatment of our mother over the last few years. We would also like to express our sincere thanks to Jessie Kim for her care and compassion during Joyce’s final days.
