Shirley May Atkinson

Passed away peacefully at home on June 15, 2019 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Norman (2014) for 66 years. Loving mother of William Atkinson and wife Waneita, Nancy Krakana and husband Dan, Myrna Collins and husband Tim. Dearest grandma to Ana, Jeff, Amy, Garry, Sam, T.J., Samantha, Joey, Stephen and Martin. Great –grandma of Cameron, Brayden, Kailee, Sophia, Sienna, Selena, Serena and Grace, and grandpup Emily. She will be greatly missed by Caryl Ward and many dear family and friends. A great deal of thanks goes to Garry Collins for putting his life on hold to care for his Nana since the passing of her husband. And to Ana for being there since her surgeries, your love and care has been wonderful. And also Samantha for loving her and caring for her also. And Sam when life with four girls gave you the chance to be there. Without all of you, her wish to die at home would not have been possible. Arrangements entrusted to Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre (519-252-5711). A Private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations in memory of Shirley may be made to Hospice Windsor..
