Obituary of Aldo Anthony Joseph Romani
After a lengthy battle with Cancer, it is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing, of our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, as he wanted, with his family right by his side. He is predeceased by his parents, Emilio and Josephine Romani, and the love of his life, Judi Romani. His legacy is left with his children David, Canice, Michael and Sandra; grandchildren, Aidan, Darien, Isabella and Tristan; brother Emilio; special friend Karen, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. The family wishes to extend a special thank you to Johannes and the palliative care team. Dad was born August 29th, 1941 in St. Boniface, Manitoba. He loved life, traveling and being involved within the community. He loved being with people and making them laugh. He was heavily involved in various organizations, scouting, GBCOA, water polo, YMCA, church, toastmasters, to name a few. Dad was always willing to lead, coach, and support David and Michael’s teams, events, and concerts. He was a determined and hardworking father with a long distinguished resume. One of his favourite joys was making balloon animals for kids, no matter where he was. Dad was a true clown, both figuratively and literally. His grandchildren were blessed to have such a joyful grandfather in their lives. A Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, April 16 at 10:00 am at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. Reception and internment to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Aldo’s memory to the Khartum Shrine Patient Transportation Fund.
