Angelo was born Dec 1st, 1931 in Amato, Catanzaro, Italy. He came to Canada in 1954. He married his first wife Caterina Mauro and they had a son Giuseppe. Caterina tragically died when their son was 18 months old. Angelo was then blessed to have found a great love when he married Wilma. As their family grew with Ventrino, Nunzio and Angela, they built a great life filled with love, laughter and many great memories that will be cherished forever. Angelo was a hard worker, and was recognized as the greatest cement finisher in Winnipeg. Angelo was preferred by S&J and many other companies. When he wasn’t working he enjoyed spending quality time with his family, taking many trips to the cabin in Gimli. Like a true Italian he also loved to garden and make homemade wine. Mass will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2019 at 11:00 am at Holy Rosary Parish Church, 510 River Avenue. Visitation and Condolences will be held at 10:00 am.
