Forever Remembered. It is with great sadness that the family of Bev Fisher announces his passing on February 5th, 2019. Bev was born on May 1st, 1936 on a farm near Manson, Manitoba. His father Lloyd farmed for most of his life, while his mother Norma taught school in a number of towns in Saskatchewan and Manitoba, before they settled in Moosomin in 1949. He graduated from Moosomin High in 1954, and later from the University of Saskatchewan with a BSc in Engineering (Civil) in 1958. He is a member of the of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Manitoba and the Manitoba Baseball Hall of Fame and was actively involved in the Winnipeg and Manitoba baseball community for over 50 years. He dearly loved his family, his profession and sports. Bev is survived by his wife of 56 years, Faye, his son Brent (Terri), his daughter Simone, two grandchildren, Marissa and Delaney, and his sister Sharron Esch (Don). He was predeceased by his parents and his brother, Grant Fisher. A memorial of Bev’s life will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday February 13th at Klassen Funeral Home, 1897 Henderson Hwy, Winnipeg. Luncheon to follow. Memorial donations can be made to the Siloam Mission.
