Giuseppe Morgante

Giuseppe Morgante was born on July 26, 1936 and with great sadness passed away on February 2, 2019. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 58 years Paolina Morgante; children Giacomino (Angie), Giovanna (Romeo), Fortunato (Deborah), Anna Maria; grandchildren Justin (Karen), Joshua (Melanie), Jesse, Paolina, Adrian, Alia and Joshua. He is also survived by his brother Vincenzo (Maria) and sister-in-law Enza, Pina, Carmelina (Melino) and numerous nieces and nephews. Giuseppe was predeceased by his parents Giacomino and Giovanna; sisters Stefania, Antonia, and Maria; bother Filippo; sisters-in-law Maria Sgarlata, Grazia Esposito; brothers-in-law Giuseppe Brambila and Mimo Corrao. Giuseppe was born in Termini Imerese, Sicily. He came to Canada in 1966 and settled in Winnipeg for the remainder of his life. A hardworking man he worked various jobs including a custodian for the school division. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at Calvary Temple, 440 Hargrave Street. Viewing will be held at 11:00 a.m. A special thanks to all the doctors and nurses at the St. Boniface Hospital especially in the last day in I.C.U.
