Obituary of Kael Giuliano Montgomery Feasey-Taiarol

IN THE CARE OF

Klassen Funeral Home

Kael “Little Bear” Feasey-Taiarol passed away suddenly at his home on Boxing Day at the age of 8 and a half. Left to mourn is his Mother, Natasha, his favourite person in the world, his fiercest advocate and the Champion of all things Kael, his Father , Scott, who is so immensely proud of how hard he fought every day, and his “Big Bro” Kehlan, whom he had a huge smile for whenever he walked in the room. His Grandma Feasey and Grandpa Giuliano and Grandma Mary whom he adored and was much loved. His Uncles and Aunts, Darin and Susan, Kirk and Marli, Joey and Phaedra and Cedryck and Carrie and all his cousins who loved him unconditionally. Kael was born just shy of Easter on April 3rd, 2010. He spent his first three months in NICU and PICU but proved, like many more times that he was small but mighty and would not be denied. Through perseverance and commitment we were able to get him to a level where he could attend daycare and grade school as he was such a sociable boy and he had a wonderful EA for four years, Mrs. A (Helene) and Wendy. Thank you to Discovery and Stevenson for providing a warm and inclusive environment for him. He loved being in the middle of things and did not want to be left out. Kael had an infectious laugh that never seemed to end. He also had a smile as wide and bright as the Sun. Kael loved to play soccer and his “fancy feet” displayed some formidable dribbling skills. Kael’s favourite phrase that he loved to yell out was “Go Out van”. We purchased a van to allow this and had many memorable outings. When he was healthy he radiated pure joy and love. Despite his handicaps Kael was able to comprehend many things and was known to snort and chortle whenever he thought he got the best of you- which was quite often. Kael was also able to attract so many great people into his orbit. All of his Caregivers became family and made a huge difference in his and our lives. Thank you to Tess, Roselyn, Hannah, Althea, Coco, Catherine, Brandy, Emily, Karri, Madeline, Roxanne, Debbie and many others- he loved you all in his special way. Thanks to Dr. Bermack for your countless hours and to the Specialists we saw on a regular basis, especially Dr. Rempel and Barb for your many hours of care. Thanks to all the specialty clinics at the Children’s Hospital. Thanks to his teachers Connie Lowe, Jennifer Hardy, Shelley Gaucherie, Principal Jane Couch, Colleen Mac Donnell, Driver Cam, SSCY and school OT’s, PT’s and SP’s, and his friends Parker, Anna and Akkad. There will be no funeral but a Celebration of Life will occur at a later date- notice will be provided. In Lieu of Flowers, donations can be made in Kael’s memory to Children’s Hospital or SSCY. Rest In Peace, Little Warrior. You will be forever remembered.
