Virginia Marie Guiboche
November 20, 1943 – July 7, 2018

Virginia Marie Guiboche, resident of Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away peacefully in her apartment on July 7, 2018.
Born in Denare Beach, Saskatchewan on November 20, 1943 to Abraham Hooker and Antonia Dussion. Virginia was the oldest of 10 children; Thelma Schellenberg, Victor Hooker, Rita Chisholm, Brian Hooker, Suzie Apetagon, Marjorie Hooker, Mary Hooker, Percy Hooker and Clifford Hooker.
Virginia will be fondly remembered by her daughters Tanya Guiboche (John Yule) and Kimberly Guiboche (Curtis Fieber); grandchildren Kayla Dauphinais, Kaitlin Dauphinais, Colby Dauphinais and Bryson Yule; sisters Thelma Schellenberg and Marjorie Hooker; brother Brian Hooker; previous spouse Thomas Guiboche; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
Virginia is predeceased by her parents Abraham Hooker and Antonia Dussion; brothers Victor and Percy Hooker; sisters Suzie Apetagon, Mary Hooker and Rita Chisholm; and son Wayne Guiboche.
Our mother and grandmother is now resting in peace alongside her father Abraham Hooker, son Wayne Guiboche and sister Rita Chisholm. Abraham Hooker passed away September 19, 1979, Wayne Guiboche passed away July 29, 1993 and Rita Chisholm passed away May 1, 2018. Virginia was heart broken losing her father, only son and her sister. Virginia is not heartbroken anymore and is very much surrounded by loved ones in heaven as she was on earth.
A graveside memorial service will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 10:00 am at Thomson “In the Park” Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard with a luncheon to follow in the Funeral home.
The family wishes to thank everyone who will attend the memorial service and the staff at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home & Cemetery during this difficult time.
