Miss. Ira, formerly of Mt Lebonus, Jamaica and Brooklyn, NY took her last breath on
August 29, 2019 at 89 years of age. Lovingly known as “Mrs. Ira , she was born in Central Macereno, Cuba. She was preceded in her death by her husband, Claudius Medder, her son's, Granville and Basil Medder, her sister's, Winnifred Gordon and Del Fuller.
She is survived by her beloved children, Claudette, Alzie, Clifford, Newton (Bike), Marjorie Medder and Derrick Heron; sister, Naomi Graham; sister/friend, Daisy Heron; sister-in-law, Amy Noel; Ms. Ira was blessed with 18 grandchildren, 29 great grands and 1 great great grand child.
A retired nurse from Byrds Coler Hospital in New York, she found patient care as her mission. She loved the Lord and served in her Church as an Usher, Deaconate, Community Services, Prison Ministry, and Church Choir Departments.
Mrs. Ira loved not only her family, but people. She shared with all she came in contact with. She was an international traveler and has passed that same passion of travel on to her family.
We are all blessed to have shared this journey with her.

Please join us; Visitation will be held September 12, 2019 from 4-8PM at Baldwin- Fairchild Funeral Home. 7520 Aloma Ave, Winter Park, FL.
Funeral Service viewing is Sunday 10AM. The Funeral will begin at 11AM at Iglesia Adventista del Septimo Dia de Orlando. 445 N. Golden Rd. Orlando, FL 32807
