Gertrude "Gertie" Ethel (Guest) Scott

Gertie Scott of Indian Head, SK, passed away peacefully, with family surrounding her on October 3, 2019. Gertie was predeceased by her husband Reg in 1992, her brother Al Guest, and sister Bea Williamson. Gertie is survived by her six children, Lorne, Myrna, Bob, Glenn (Wanda), Brian (Barb) and Elaine. Gertie had 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren, all who adored and loved her greatly. Gertie is also survived by many wonderful nieces and nephews. Gertie was born June 9, 1923 and spent her entire life in Indian Head. She was dedicated to her community and her biggest joy was spending time with her family. A service will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in St. Andrew’s United Church in Indian Head. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
