Inez Muriel Roberton

Inez Muriel Roberton, 87 years of age, passed peacefully on Sunday, May 12, 2019 in the Golden Prairie Home, Indian Head, Saskatchewan. Inez was born September 9, 1931 on her parent’s farm in Downie Township Perth County, Ontario near St. Mary’s Ontario. She was from a family of 10 children and is survived by 1 sister Norma. Inez is survived by her three daughters: Debra Heisler, Qu’Appelle, 3 granddaughters: Sheri, Michelle and Erin and three great grandchildren: Diane Serson (Brian) Saskatoon and two grandchildren Taylor and Jackie and Dena Meredith (Randy), Airdrie, Alberta and 3 grandchildren: Brady, Sabrina and Josephine and her two grandsons: Levi and Stephen Burke, Edmonton, Alberta and many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Inez was predeceased by her loving husband - Doug Roberton (Indian Head), her loving sisters including Bessie Heaslip (Indian Head); her one brother and her beloved son George Burke. Inez will be fondly remembered by her saddened family and friends as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, a Branch 114 Legion Member, a Shriners club volunteer, a UCW member and a loyal generous friend who could never say no to a charity or a request for a helping hand. Mom was so thankful for the companionship of her friends. A private family graveside service will be held at Inez’s request.
