John Davison Leigh

John Davison Leigh, age 77, of Fort Qu’Appelle, SK, passed away on September 18, 2019. John was born in Toronto ON, on November 21, 1941. Dad joined the RCMP in 1962, retiring in 1973. Dad served in Alberta for all of his career except for two years spent on the Musical Ride. After the RCMP Dad attended Vocational Agriculture at the U of S and graduated in 1975. He then farmed at Fort Qu’Appelle and also taught at SIAST and drove tour bus. Dad married Ruth Hiebert on March 20, 1971, they were married 36 years. John will be missed by his sisters Susie and Lesley, children Kirsten, Andrea, Aaron and Morgan. Daughters-in-law Margaret and Michaelle and his grandchildren Atticus, Caitlin and Kate. John was predeceased by wife Ruth, sister Bonnie and his parents Horace and Elva. At John’s request there will not be a funeral service.
