Gary Gerald Wentz

Gary was born in Devils Lake ND June 24, 1966 and passed away on May 6, 2019 at his home in Yuma, AZ. He was preceded in death by his father Albert Andrew Wentz, his mother Charlotte Rae Haugen and his daughter Amanda Michelle Wentz. He is survived by his son Andrew Michael Wentz of Orange Park, FL, his brother Alan Albert Wentz of Yuma, AZ, and nephews William and Jordan Wentz of Yuma, AZ. Gary served 23 years in the US Army before retiring. While serving in the Army he was an 82nd Airborne Division Paratrooper at Ft. Bragg, NC.Gary also served in Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm (Gulf War). Gary loved his country and was proud to serve. The family will be planning a military service in the near future at the National Cemetery in Jacksonville, Florida.
