Jim Greenfield

Willard James Greenfield of Carmel, Indiana passed away on Thursday, November 12, 2020. He was born October 28, 1933 in Ogle County, Illinois to the late Dick and Ragan A. (nee Hansen) Greenfield. Willard had worked most of his life in the insurance industry. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He is survived by his daughter Cynthia Swain Robinson of Sterling Heights, Michigan; four grandchildren Ronald Robinson, II, Chad (Jodie) Robinson, Kelly Robinson (Zack) Shepherd, and Laura McDougal. He was a proud great-grandfather to seven: Aiden Spencer, Kayla Lynn, Peyton James, Danielle Rose, Sophie Ann, Lillian Mary, Beckett Ray. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marilyn Rose Greenfield; son William Randall Swain and son-in-law, Ronald Robinson. Visitation will take place at Leppert Mortuary – Smith Carmel Chapel on Monday, November 16th from 11:00 am until time of services at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow directly after the service in Carmel Cemetery. Social distancing will be practiced and masks are required.
