Patricia Ann Hunter

On Monday, November 16, 2020, Patricia Ann Hunter (nee Sights), loving mother of four children, passed away at the age of 82. Patricia was born March 15, 1938 to Edward and Agnes Sights (nee McGreevey) in De Gonia Springs, IN. In 1957, Patricia married Ottis Lloyd Gentry and had four children together. Hugh (1958-2014), Mark (1960-2001), DeAnne Lahmann (Robert) of Cincinnati, OH and Patrick Gentry of Chicago, IL. In 1972, Patricia married Robert Hunter. They remained married until his death in 1988. Patricia, a loving mother, neighbor, and friend to many, loved singing and could always be counted on to sing along with her favorite singers. Most notably, Pat Boone, Tom Jones and Engelbert Humperdink. Patricia is survived by a sister, Sara Hanley of Newburgh, IN and a brother, James Sights of Evansville, IN, both of whom she was very close. She is also survived by granddaughters, Sarah Bittlinger of Cincinnati, Ohio, Veronica Lahmann of Waterloo, Iowa, and Abby Lahmann of Cincinnati, Ohio, and three great-granddaughters, Alexa, Grace and Sophia. A small graveside ceremony will be held at Park Lawn Cemetery at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 20.
