Bessie Gragg, 97, of Kokomo passed peacefully May 27, 2017 at 7:35am at Northwoods Village.
Bessie married Grady Lloyd Gragg in August of 1940 who later passed in 1970.
She was born to her late parents James Albert and Nettie Hickman (Monroe) on September 7, 1919 in Kokomo.
Bessie is survived by her son James “Jim” (Verena) Gragg of Kokomo
She enjoyed nature, working in the yard, and crossword puzzles. Bessie loved all animals but especially dogs and cats.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers George and Roy Hickman, sister May Morris, and two nieces.
A Private Graveside service will be held at Crown Point Cemetery
