Lee Roy Baumgardner Sr.

Lee Roy Baumgardner, Sr., age 82, passed away on May 6, 2018 at home. He was born July 31, 1935 to Roy and Helen Baumgardner of Culpeper. Lee Roy retired from Safeway Stores and loved gardening, antiquing, fishing, relic hunting and music, but most of all he loved his family. Surviving is his wife of 60 years, LaVerne “Bunny” Richardson Baumgardner of Culpeper; son, Lee, Jr. of Cartersville, VA; daughter Kimberly Selvaggi and husband Alan of Acworth, GA; grandchildren Hannah and Jacob Selvaggi of Acworth, GA; sister JoAnne Petty of Front Royal; and brother Roger Baumgardner of Culpeper. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ellen Revoir of New Jersey. The family will receive friends and family on Thursday, May 10, 2018, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Clore-English Funeral Home, 11190 James Monroe Highway, Culpeper, VA. Interment will be private.
