Jim Age

James L. Age III, 58, of Indianapolis passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by loved ones on Sunday April 20th 2014. He was born December 14, 1955 in Scotland County, North Carolina to James "Leroy" and Ruth Age, whom he precedes in death. He was a graduate of Beech Grove High School in 1974. Jim was honorably discharged from The United States Army, 82nd Airborne Division and is recognized as a Vietnam Era Veteran. He was a long time and proud member of Local 18 Heat and Frost Insulators. Jim is survived in death by his children Luke (Jenalee) and Brooke Age; his brothers David and Brad (Ruthie) Age and Sister Sherri (Brian) Crawford. A memorial service will be held Thursday, April 24, 2014 at Little & Sons Stop Eleven Chapel with a gathering from 3-5pm with services immediately following. The family would like to invite everyone to join in a Celebration of Jim's life at Shallo's Antique Restaurant & Brewhaus. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Breath of Life foundation.
