ROSELLA was born Marion County, KY to Roy David and Cecil Frances Hill on Dec. 25, 1926. She went to school at Lebanon, KY. She married MacLeans Geo-Jaja. She graduated from Kentucky State University, Boston University and McGill University. She worked as a teacher for schools in the United States and Nigeria for 50+ years. She was a veteran of war and served in the military. She was involved in the Buncombe County Teacher's Association, the World Council of Churches in Le-Puy, and the Altar Guild of the Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Indianapolis. She received a B.A. and a M.A. with Honors.

ROSELLA is survived by her children, grandchildren, a sister, nieces, great¬nieces, great-nephews, cousins, a brother-in-law, daughters-in-law and many distant relatives.
