Stuart "Newt" Allen Hickerson

Stuart "Newt" Allen Hickerson, age 89, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Sunday, March 21, 2021. Stuart "Newt" was born October 11, 1931 in Normal, Illinois to Elmer Stuart and Bertha Linea Cratz Hickerson. Newt served in the U.S. Navy. He was a union carpenter and a member of Ducks Unlimited. Newt is survived by his beloved wife Doris Butler Hickerson, son Scott (Elizabeth) Hickerson, daughter Lori (Thomas Nustad) Carrell, stepdaughter Joy (Stephen) Koors, stepson Wayne (Tania Gnazzo) Pullam, grandchildren Cody Carrell, Cheyenne Carrell, Joey Hickerson, Johnny Hickerson, Julie Koors Miller, Tristan Koors, Oscar Pullam, Xaviar Pullam and great granddaughter Charlotte Joy Carrell. A Celebration of Life for Newt will be held at a later date.
