Henry Clay Eanes

Henry Clay Eanes, 89, of Axton, passed away Friday, July 6, 2018, in Roanoke. He was born in Henry County, March 1, 1929 to Richard B. Eanes and Alice Agnes Eanes. He served in the Army from 1948 – 1950, during the Korean Conflict. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Omilee Pulliam Eanes; a son, Doug Eanes and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by a daughter, Debbie Haynes (Bobby); sister, Rachel Kendall (Max); brother, Richard Eanes (Clara); 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Burial Park. Arrangements are by McKee-Stone Funeral Home in Martinsville.
