Flora Johnson Pencoff

Flora Ellen Johnson Pencoff, 91 was lifted into glory on Thursday May 4, 2017. She was born on July 22, 1925 in Washington, D.C to Amelia Bishop Johnson and Richard Granville Johnson. Preceeded in death by her parents, baby brother and her beloved husband, Charles N. Pencoff. She is survived by her sister, Marian Belcher, nephew David Belcher and nieces, Zoe Monserrate, Julie Belcher and their families, her son, Ivan Pencoff and his wife, Karen, daughter Karen P. Herl and her husband Stephen, her grandchildren; Lindsay and Matt Sutton, Robert and Arisay Herl and 3 great grandchildren; Kahlan, Avery and William Sutton. She was a registered nurse and a career piano teacher, but most of all—she was a living example of a devoted relationship to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She had a heart to serve and ministered to others the love and grace of God every day of her life until the day God called her home.
