Elvia M. LeMons

Elvia M. LeMons, 59, of Decatur, passed away on January 29, 2021. Born on September 2, 1961, in San Bernadino, California, she was a daughter of the late Paul A. Paiz Sr., and Maryann (nee Venegas) Casillas. Elvia was a member of Central Ministries, Fort Wayne, and worked for the Indiana Department of Family and Child Services, as an Eligibility Assistant. She is survived by her husband, Thomas LeMons; children, Nina (Ross) Lipscomb, Albert (Katie) Armenta, Jarred Armenta, Joshua Armenta, Justin (Megan White) Armenta, Caleb Armenta, Alex Armenta, Alyssa (Alejandro Guzman) Armenta, Zowie (Blake Norman) LeMons; sisters, Angela C. Piaz, and Alice "Ba-Gee" Garcia; brother, Paul F. Paiz Jr.; and eight grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her step-father, Benjamin R. Casillas. Funeral service will be 1:30pm, Saturday, February 13, 2021, at Central Ministries (5801 Schwartz Road, Fort Wayne), with calling from 10am to 12pm, prior to service, at the church.
