James "Jimmy" Andrew Cromwell

James “Jimmy” Andrew Cromwell, 52, passed away on Tuesday evening March 30, 2021. Jimmy was born on August 5, 1968 to Nancy and Edward Cromwell Sr. He is preceded in death by his two older stepbrothers, Alan and Steven Trundy as well as his beloved lab, Titan aka “cookie head”; his pitbull, Sage; and his cat Lokie. Left to cherish his memory are his loving parents; older brother, Edward “Eddie” Cromwell Jr.; sister-in-law, Monica Cromwell; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also leaves behind many friends, colleagues, and associates who have been blessed to have shared his short life. Jimmy graduated from Kecoughtan High School in 1986. He obtained a degree in computer science from ECPI University. He was employed with Huntington Ingalls twice for a total of 29 years until he could no longer work. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at Parklawn-Wood Funeral Home, 2551 N. Armistead Ave, Hampton, VA 23666. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. The service will be streamed on Parklawn-Wood’s Facebook live page. The family sincerely thanks the staff at Riverside Healthy Living –Magnolia, in Smithfield, VA and Consulate Health Care in Windsor, VA for taking great care of Jimmy during his illness. We know that because of your care, in Jimmy’s final word, he was “fine”.
