Irma Lee Gurkin Hardee

Irma Lee Gurkin Hardee, died July 7, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, Irma and Lee Gurkin; her brothers, Charles and Bert Gurkin; her husbands, Gene Hardee and George Drudge; and her mother-in-law, Helen White. She is survived by her children, John Hardee, Sherry Phillips (Scott) and Jeanna Paige Hardee; grandchildren, Johnathan Hardee (Shelley), Jason Hardee (Magen), Megan Hardee, Ryan Phillips and Whitney Cipriani (Ale); 10 great-grandchildren; her brother-in-law, Bill White (Lois); and many close friends. In her final days, Irma Lee found much joy and pleasure giving to others. She chose just the right thing from her home to give to her friends and family. Everything had a story that she enjoyed sharing. Remains rest at Woody Funeral Home Parham Chapel, 1771 N. Parham Rd, Richmond, VA 23229. Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 17 2021. Funeral services will be conducted at Woody’s at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, plant something in your garden to keep her memory alive and growing in your hearts.
