Ronald Vincent Sweeney Sr.

Ronald Vincent Sweeney, 58, of Madison Heights went home to be with his Lord and Savior Friday, July 9, 2021 at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born in Maryland on January 27, 1963 he was a son of the late Mack Sweeney and Velma Sweeney. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two children, Chris Romer and Callie Brown. He is survived by his children, April Sweeney (Timmy), Ronald Sweeney, Jr., Tabitha Sweeney, Jasmine Branham and Crystal Ford all of Madison Heights; three siblings, Dawn Mongold and her husband Chuck of West Virginia, Robbie Sweeney and his wife Becky of Maryland, and Emily Sweeney of Martinsburg, WV; his girlfriend, Teresa Ford of Madison heights; 12 grandchildren; his dedicated aunt Gail and husband Larry; uncle Buddy and wife Cheryl; and best friend Clyde Coleman A funeral service will be conducted 2:00 pm Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor Mark Snowden officiating. Burial will follow in Meade Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
