Julian Douglas Johnson

Julian Douglas Johnson, 83, of Forest passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at his residence. He was the husband of the late Ruby Johnson. Born in Amherst on August 13, 1938 he was the son of the late Andrew Johnson and Sallie Johnson. He was a retired maintenance worker with Central Virginia Training Center and a member of Hyland Heights Baptist Church. He is survived by three children, Donna Letchford and her husband Vincent of Monroe, Michael Johnson and his wife Phyllis of Forest, and Beverly Dawn Goff and her husband Christopher of Big Island; eight grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be conducted 11:00 am Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Pastor Robert Adcock officiating. Burial will follow in Fort Hill Memorial Park. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
