Frances Evelyn Shelley Moses, 90, of Lynchburg, passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at her residence.
Born November 15, 1930 in Dentons Valley, TN, she was the daughter of the late Elick Shelley and Beulah West Rankins. She was also preceded in death by 3 brothers and 1 sister.
Frances was a homemaker and loved spending time with her family and working on fill-in puzzles. She was a member of Harvest Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Snowden and her husband Hervy; two sons, Junior Moses and his wife Beverly, Roger Moses and his wife Ann; nephew Christopher Shelley and his wife Christina; five grandchildren; twenty-eight great grandchildren, twelve great-great grandchildren and two great-nephews.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 10, 2021 from 6:00 p.m-8:00 p.m. at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Harvest Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Snowden officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Hill Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Harvest Baptist Church, 2571 Carter St, Lynchburg, VA 24501.
