Obituary of Hazel O Menikheim
My beloved Aunt Hazel Menikheim went to be with the Lord on Sunday November 17th, at home with me by her side. Hazel was the oldest daughter of Esther (Thomas) and William Heneisen, born March 5th 1927. In past years Hazel enjoyed collecting antiques, doing yard work and needle point .Currently her past time was reading her devotions and Amish Love Stories. Hazel retired from Koch Label Company and had worked for several Evansville doctors doing house cleaning and yard work. My Aunt Hazel was one of the Lords most devoted followers. It was my honor to be able to take care of her for the last several years. She was always grateful, thankful and pleasant. We will deeply miss our sister, aunt and friend, but we know she is in a far better place. I would like to express my appreciation to the caring neighbor Judy Lizotte who assisted me in caring for Aunt Hazel, I could not have honored Hazels' wishes to remain at home without her. Until we meet again my sweet Aunt, rest in peace and know that you will remain with me always. Love Donna Hazel was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Ralph, son Ralph Jr, Brothers Walter, Kenneth, Donald & many friends. She is survived by her daughter in law Yolinda Menikheim (Evansville), Sisters Linda (Ron) Kempf, Cynthia Lupinsky (Mt. Vernon) and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 22, 2019 at Alexander West Chapel officiated by Rev. Bobby Cox with burial to follow in Zion Lippe Cemetery. Friends may visit 3-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Condolences may be offered at www.AlexanderWestChapel.com.
