B. Roberta Colter

B. Roberta Colter, 90, of Kokomo passed away at 10:46 AM Wednesday November 20, 2019 at Golden Living Center-Sycamore Village. Born October 26, 1929 in Kokomo, she was the daughter of the late John Sagarsee and Thelma (Bradshaw) Sagarsee. She was a 1948 graduate of Somerset High School. On March 3, 1950, in Kokomo, she married J. Leroy Colter, and he survives. She was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, crocheting and reading. She also attended First Church of the Nazarene. Survivors include her husband of 69 years J. Leroy Colter of Kokomo; four sons David (Fiance-Rita Mousty) Colter of Georgetown, Dennis Colter of Carmel, Steven (Cheri) Colter of Marion, and Jeff Colter of Kokomo; one daughter Sharon (Alan) Myers of Kokomo; one sister Pauline Tow of Jupiter, FL; fifteen grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, four brothers and two sisters. Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, November 25, 2019 at Ellers Mortuary, 3400 South Webster Street, Kokomo. Pastor Steve Colter will officiate. Burial will follow at Albright Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday at the mortuary.
