Lisa Ann Evans

Lisa Ann Evans, age 54 of the Penhook Community of Pittsylvania County, died on Monday, January 20, 2020 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained from an automobile accident. She was born on January 22, 1965 to the late Sam Lloyd Evans and Robette Robertson Evans. She enjoyed singing, cooking, going to the beach and collecting lighthouses. Lisa is survived by her fiancé, Wayne Gentry; son, Wesley Keith Chilton (Karen), daughter, Samantha Leigh Chilton; brother, Michael Evans (Cheryl); sisters, Pam Cook (Larry), Karen Moorefield (Jesse); granddaughter, Charlotte Chilton and numerous nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her beloved dog “Gin Gin”. A celebration of life will be held Friday, January 24, 2020 at 7:00 PM at Compassion Church with Pastor Jeff Lynch officiating.
