Alice M. Ott

Alice M. Ott, 80, passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Aperion Care in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Davenport, Iowa to the late Arthur Joseph and Alice Blanche (Collins) Smith. Alice married Donald Ott and he preceded her in death in 2016. She was a member of St. Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Clarksville, TN. Alice was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed. Surviving are two sons, Steven (Diane) Ott of Dixon, IL, and Daren Ott of Ft. Wayne, IN; daughters, Karen (Mike) Hayes of Durand, IL; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by three sons, Donald Frank Ott, Jr., Michael Ott, and Eddie Ott; daughter, Brenda Bumpus; siblings, Bud, Arthur "Butch," Arlene, and Mary. Visitation will be on Monday, July 6, 2020 at Greenlawn Funeral Home (6750 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804) from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at 11:00 am at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West (5817 Fort Campbell Blvd, Hopkinsville, KY 42240). Memorial contributions may be made to St. Bethlehem United Methodist Church.
