Larry Arthur Garrett

Larry Arthur Garrett, 74, of Midlothian, passed away at home on Thursday, July 8, 2021, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. He is survived by his beloved wife, Marsha Garrett; daughters, Meghan, Ellen, and Laura Garrett; grandson, Zeyan Chaabane; four sisters and two brothers. Larry worked as a civil engineer at Columbia Gas of Virginia. When he wasn't working, he enjoyed spending time fishing, gardening, and watching soccer. He had an interest in American history and loved to visit National Parks. A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at Woody Funeral Home-Huguenot. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Parkinson's Foundation at parkinson.org.
