Richard "Scott" Miller

Richard “Scott” Miller, 62, passed away Sunday , June 20, 2021. Scott was born November 23, 1958, in Indianapolis, IN. He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Patricia (Hagist) Miller and their three children: Kathleen (Andy) Bullock, Scotty (Chelsea) Miller and Mitch (Abby) Miller; grandchildren Macklin Bullock, Murphy Bullock, Maura Bullock, Charlie Miller and Connell Miller; His mother, Sharon Tabard; siblings Beth (Jeff) Shepard, LeeAnn (Jeff) Andrews, Tracy Miller, Dawn (David) Pritchett, Steve (Lisa) Miller, Missy (Kenneth) Ventresca, Robin (Tim) Hedrick, and Matt Miller and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Lee Miller and his daughter, Mary Marie Miller. Scott graduated from Little Flower School and then Scecina Memorial High School. Scott went on to play football at Franklin college and then went to play with the Indianapolis Bears Semi-Pro team . Scott worked at Allison Transmissions for 25 years, then continued on to Community Health Network. Scott’s love and passion were sports, his garden and spending time with his grandchildren. He coached football at Holy Spirit School for almost fifteen years where he was a Albert Busald award recipient. Visitation will be held Friday June 25th, 2021 at St. Philip Neri Church, 550 N Rural Street Indianapolis, from 10:30am -12pm followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12pm. www.feeneyhornakshadeland.com
