James Carson Doss

DOSS, James Carson, 73, of Ruther Glen, passed away on Tuesday, April 27, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Amanda Doss; and his siblings Melvin Doss and Betty Ogle. James is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jackie Doss; his children, James Keefe (Nancy), Brian Doss (Katrina), and Matthew Doss (Angela); 6 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and his brother, Paul W. Doss. The family will receive friends from 10am to 10:45am on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 412 S Washington Hwy. Ashland, Va. A graveside service will follow at Signal Hill Memorial Park, 12360 Hanover Courthouse Rd. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hanover Humane Society, 12190 Washington Highway Ashland, VA 23005.
