Obituary of Eileen Dubois
Eileen O. Dubois, 98, of Connersville died Sunday, August 15, 2021 at her home surrounded by her family. Eileen was born to James and Allie Suter Ochiltree on September 19, 1922 in Falmouth, Indiana. She attended Connersville Senior High and graduated with the class of 1940. Eileen married Lowell Dubois on December 14, 1946 at Central Christian Church. She farmed with her husband and was an executive secretary for American Kitchens from 1940 until 1950. Eileen faithfully attended Harrisburg Union Church and was a member of Farm Bureau. She loved dancing especially with Lowell. She also loved spending every spare minute with her grand and great-grandchildren; she always made up fun little games for them. Eileen enjoyed tending to her flowers and playing bridge, and was often reading a book or doing a crossword puzzle. Eileen is survived by her daughter: Nancy Weeks and her husband Dan of Connersville; son: Lowell E. “Eddy” Dubois II, of Connersville; grandchildren and their spouses: Jay Weeks of California, Megan Guerin and Keith of Seattle, Rachel Glisson and Chase of Fishers, Danielle Weeks of Seattle, Chester Dubois of Connersville, Kristin White and Jacob, of Connersville; great-grandchildren: Brooklynne, Matthew, Kaitlynne, Joel, Emerson and Elizabeth; sister-in-law: Bonnie Ochiltree; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Eileen is preceded in death by her loving husband of seventy-one years: Lowell; sisters: Jane Ochiltree, Mary Louise Julien, and her twin sister: Ione Nutty; brother: James Ochiltree; brothers-in-law: Tom Julien, Floyd Nutty. A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Harrisburg Union Church. Friends may visit the church from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Dale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Harrisburg Union Church or The Fayette County Public Library in Eileen’s honor.
