JoAnn Maxwell

JoAnn (Wolff) Maxwell, 88, of Indianapolis, passed away November 24, 2019. JoAnn was born in Dubuque, Iowa the daughter of the late LeRoy and Beatrice (Simmons) Wolff. She worked at Sears for 5 years and later at KMart for 10 years in Wichita, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Samuel Maxwell. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and a Master Bridge Player. She spent her life traveling the world with her husband whom she adored, and her family enjoyed a life of adventure. She was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church. JoAnn is survived by her children, Samuel David Maxwell, Steven Maxwell, Linda Robinson, Christine Trainor and Kathleen Ann Maxwell; her brother Robert Wolff and sister, Eleanor Snelling; 7 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A Celebration of JoAnn's Life will be held on Saturday, November 30 from 11a.m to 12:30 p.m. at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary,1307 Shadeland Ave., Indianapolis, IN 46219.
