Mary Guinn Wainscott

Mary Guinn Depew Wainscott, 76, of Kokomo, passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2019 at her residence. She was born to the late George Roberts and Amanda (Garrett) Roberts on October 5, 1943 in Polk County, Tennessee. Mary lived in Farner, Tennessee until she was 15 years old until she moved to Kokomo with her sister. She worked as a car hop, when she was younger. Mary met and married Eugene on February 2, 1962. Mary retired from Syndicate Sales as a Press Operator after over 30 years of employment. She loved her children and grandchildren. Mary enjoyed fishing and listening to country music on her 8-track tapes. Mary is survived by her son, Don Depew; daughter, Deanna Depew (Mondo Fowler); grandsons, Evan Depew (Chelsie Lawson), Kobe Depew; granddaughter, Cameren Collins; along with a host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death are her parents; her husband, Eugene; sisters, Fannie Worthy, Zannie Gilmore, Betty Achey, Judy Witt, and Dessie Long; and brothers, Ernie, Ralph, Gordon, and Troy Roberts. The family will hold private services at a later date.
