Larry C. Smith

Larry C. Smith, 69, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully on January 15, 2020, after a brave battle with cancer. Born on October 26, 1950, in Muncie, he was a son of Lenard and Hessie (Cook) Smith, who survive. He is also survived by his wife of over 44 years, Cynthia Ann (Warner) Smith. He was an active member, and former elder of North Church of Christ. He retired in 2009, after more than 30 years of service with Wells Fargo Bank. He loved serving God, and was a friend to all who knew him. He was a cherished husband, son, father, and grandfather. Other survivors include, son, Adam (Jennifer) Smith, of Leo; daughter, Rachel (Keith) Seaton, of Collierville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Hallie Seaton, Addison Seaton, Katelyn Seaton, Isaac Smith, Jordan Smith, and Silas Smith; brother, Jerry Smith. Funeral service will be 1:30pm, Monday, January 20, 2020, at D. O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 East Dupont Road, Fort Wayne, with calling from 11:00am, until time of service.
