Patrick Stuart Day, 33, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2020. Patrick was born in Lynchburg, on a beautiful, sunshiny Wednesday on August 7, 1985. His birth was an answered prayer. He was a resident of Lynchburg. He loved music, creating art, and profound, meaningful conversations. Anyone who knew Patrick saw he was a genuine, unique, witty, intelligent, deep individual who loved music and art, cats and his friends.
Patrick was a kind and thoughtful person with an infectious smile and a wonderful sense of humor. One of his many qualities was his ability to make people laugh and to contemplate life more intensely and passionately.
He leaves behind his mother Donna Anne Weringo; his stepfather Stephen Burris; his maternal grandparents Robert and Joyce Weringo; his aunt Lynn Weringo Carroll and her daughter Judith Anne Carroll, both of Australia; and his uncle and aunt Tony and Tammy Weringo.
The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel.
Patrick’s graveside and celebration of his life will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2020 at Spring Hill Cemetery with Pastor Thomas Tascone officiating.
