Donna Faye Williams

Donna F. (Ahrens) Williams, 75, of Evansville, passed away at the Deaconess Hospital on Wednesday, May 20, 2020. She was born in Jasper, IN on August 28, 1944 to the late Kenneth and Kathleen (Reed) Ahrens. Donna grew up in Jasper, Indiana then married her husband, Philip, and they put down roots in Evansville. They were married for 48 years and lived on the north side for over 40 years. She enjoyed working as a manager for Hallmark stores on the North and West side for many years. Donna was an avid reader with a home full of thousands of books. She was an excellent cook who enjoyed preparing meals for family and guests. Donna loved her many cats she had over the years. A highlight was living in Lichfield, England for several months and traveling throughout Europe. She and Phil attended McCutchanville Church for over 40 years where she enjoyed her Sunday School class group and singing in the choir. Donna was preceded in death by her husband; Philip Williams; brothers, Kenneth, Ronald and Errol; sisters, Rose, Pamela and Charlotte. She is survived by her daughter, Kelly (Williams) Henderson (Ken) of Memphis, TN; son, Shawn Williams (Lisa) of Bloomington, IN; grandchildren, Katie Williams and Emily Williams; sister, Stephanie Taber; numerous nieces and nephews. A private family service will be held at the McCutchanville Church Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Vanderburgh Humane Society.
